Saffron - Reigate and Banstead

The rice was nice and the slopes gobi was pleasant once you poured off the oil, which made up about a quarter of the dish. The chapati would have made good shoe leather but once you chewed through it the taste was OK. The King Prawn Rogan however was disgusting. Enough oil to deep dry the dish, utterly disgusting. Once the oil was removed as best we could we started to rummage for the king prawns but were rewarded with a few fragments of prawnlike pieces. The real horror was still to come, when we actually tested it. Never in my life have I tried to eat anything so salty. I'm sure sea water would have been more palatable. I couldn't tell you anything about the dish other than it was nice salty, oily vegetable dish. Bitterly disappointing. I would not recommend eating here unless you're into oily salt. Inedible.

I ordered a curry and was informed that I could pay either £28.05 in cash or £34.00 with a card. I am reporting this restaurant for charging £5.95 to use a debit card, which is against the law. The customer service was disgusting, incredibly rude, and greedy. Let's just say the food was as bad as the service.

Ordered for four people for first time last night. Had mains, sides and extras. All were excellent. Came hot and in a reasonable time. Considering it was Saturday we were surprised. Ordered online on their website. The king prawn pasanda was amazing. Will definitely be using again.

Another great takeaway from here. Food arrived fast and hot. We prefer this place to the other Indian restaurant.

It is the best curry in surrey. The food is always lovely and so is the sauce. The prices are quite high but it is totally worth it as it is lovely. The reason this isn't 5 stars is because some times the people working there wont accept card and sometimes they will. I once paid with card and an extra 70 quid with taken out of my account. So i went down to the store to confront the owner. I did eat my lovely curry first though. I then went in the shop and started shouting my mouth off. I was not very happy. The owner refused to give me the 70 quid that was taken out off my account. I was very angry and had enough so a sparked the owner with one punch and grabbed so narm bread and left. Still very nice food though.
