Museums Café - Reichenau

We had a very relaxing afternoon with friends in this café. Tasty soup, tomatomozzarella salad and yummy cakes. Hundreds of interesting books, in German and English language, to read there, or borrow or swop on request

Having a walk to pass the morning on Reichenau late in October so not a great deal open. Cold misty morning so it was a pleasant place to have a warming coffee

A lovely place!Have a good cup of coffee and a cake or a tasty soup surrounded by books that can be borrowed an returned, even by mail. Please be honest and do so

You can read hundreds of books in this cafe, you could even take them home and mail them back later, or replace them with an alternative. we were very well received with the ChileanGerman couple running the place, so it was a nice experience after...visiting the Reichenau monastery museum

This whole area of Reichenau is a fairy tale and this coffee house fits in perfectly, beautiful and charming in every detail. The atmosphere was so peaceful and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful : Did I mention the pancake soup, it's a must...try : Great coffee and cake too. The whole experience was amazing. The world needs more cafe houses like this one
