Thrasher's French Fries

Thrasher's is my favorite place for beach fries to go, right next to Louie's. I'm not sure why, because they all sell the same quality fries. They are crispy on the outside but warm and fluffy on the inside. They serve them with minimal salt, but there is a salt shaker on the counter so you can add more if you'd like. They also serve their fries with a side of vinegar, not ketchup. Personally, I love my fries with vinegar, but some may be disappointed to not see ketchup on the menu. If you must have ketchup, you can visit a nearby beach lunch spot on the boardwalk for a cup. I recommend trying the fries with vinegar, it's delicious! Just remember to bring cash, as they only accept cash payments.

Thrasher's serves the most delicious fries you will ever taste. They are perfect on their own, but you can also add salt and vinegar if you prefer. Just keep in mind that they do not offer ketchup, so you will need to bring your own if you can't eat fries without it. Surrounding businesses are aware of this and have signs saying you can't use their ketchup for Thrasher's fries. Additionally, be prepared for seagulls to flock to you when you leave with a bucket of fries. It's almost impossible to eat them all without some spilling out, leading to a battle of the birds on the boardwalk. I'm happy that there are Thrasher's locations in Rehoboth Beach so I can enjoy their fries without having to go to the OC boardwalk.

Just a heads up, if you're indulging in fries by the beach, the calories don't count, right? This restaurant serves perfectly cooked fries that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They're just the right size and perfectly salted. The real debate is whether to dip them in ketchup or not. I savored every bite during my visit.

Whenever we visit the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk, our first stop is always this restaurant. I'm not sure what their secret is, but their fries are the best I've ever had. Just be cautious when eating them on a bench on the boardwalk, as the seagulls are known to swoop in and snatch them right out of your hand!
