Stoney Lonen Irish Pub Eatery

In the heart of downtown Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, you will find lots of restaurants. One restaurant that stands out above the crowd is Stoney Lonen Irish Pub Eatery. It is one block off the main street, which is Rehoboth Avenue. You can see the brightly painted yellow and green building welcoming you. Inside there is a causal bar to the left. The dining areas are charming and the outer dining rooms have plenty of natural light. The wait staff is always polite and quietly efficient. Of course, since this is a beach area, call or check online for hours. It is open year-round, but has different hours of operation. If you are looking for specially priced dinners, check them out online or call. If you like Lobster, choose Thursday evening to dine or Friday evening's menu which offers 1/2 Price Fish Chips and 1/2 Price Appetizers 4 pm to 7 pm. Enjoy a pint of Guinness or a tasty Cosmopolitan, both are reasonably priced. The lunch menu offers soups, appetizers, salads and sandwiches. Both the chili and seafood stew are exceptional choices to accompany the 8 oz. Stoney Lonen Pub Burger. The burger includes a choice of bleu cheese, Provolone, Swiss or Cheddar cheese with lettuce and tomatoes and fries. The burger is moist and is cooked to your specifications on a tasty bun. Two exceptional dinner selections include Broiled Sea Scallops finished with a basil and black pepper beurre blanc and the Grilled Gaelic Herb Chicken Breast topped with a fresh herb fontina cheese sauce. Both selections are served with Stoney Lonen's wild rice and grilled asparagus. If you want a great combination meal, choose the excellent Grilled Steak and Cake, which includes a Petite filet and one broiled lump crab cake. It is served with red skin mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. For dessert, choose the Apple and Blackberry Crumble served warm with vanilla bean ice cream. With tea or coffee, the crumble is delightful and plenty for two to share.
