We have decided to try fish beginners (the coquilles were super fresh, and the garnel cocktail one of the best I ever had, then a rumpsteak for me and carving for my man. everything was very good and in huge quantities, a special mention of the local...loss beautiful! the only small note, from we really want to find something wrong, sauces are a bit heavy, large use of diary products, but on the other hand they really nicely packed a doggy bag with what we could 't finish. the terrace at the river is very beautiful, and the field before was completely full of super sweet wild hates. in any case we will come back to try more dishes :

A classic German restaurant with fine dining and great service. late (after a very long journey) advised, but were welcomed and served very quickly. a stone from the Rhine, the location is excellent, but a bit a ride from the beaten track....We were also overnight; good value, clean and spacious, and very comfortable. keep the windows closed in the evening and at night without the flyscreens to keep the mozzies.

Even if this place is far from the main road, it is worth the extra mile. many customers know that, so book one table before they go there. the service is professional, friendly, friendly and very fast. eating is delicious and the rations are. enough to eat is served quickly and everything fresh and warm. here you can eat various types of fish .something otherwise than the usual salmon. For all there's a wide choice of fish on the menu, everyone that I invited until now is so amazed by the fresh fish and the various types of sea food and sweet water fish that is served, often they serve specials, just ask. Some...advice: take just a main course or two starters. Also you can ask for a small main dish if you prefer a starter. The view wines of the house that come in completely filled glasses will satisfy all your needs. The service does it all, kind, smiling and always helpful if you have some allergic reactions on ingredients, this amazed me how flexible they are, just ask. The terrace has a perfect view on the river Rhine that flows into the Netherlands. Parking is there for everyone, front and backside. In the winter time it's cosy inside, not really old fashioned, just good and cosy! The food does it all, a place you need to go. While there I noticed, (from the license plates) that guest are driving more than 100 Km to eat here, I can imagine why! Sometimes you need to wait 4 to 18 minutes in the weekends. Payment is by standard bank card or cash, no credit card. Meat is also available on the menu, I never tried it, looks tasty when the plates are flying thru the waiters hands. Go there and enjoy
