Woodblock - Redmond

Wonderful modern American whisky bar restaurant. A small menu that lets you know that they focus on quality versus quantity. The chicken and duck liver mousse could be replaced. Slightly sweet with the mildest rich organ taste. How to spread butter on handmade roasted bread is the perfect pairing of opposing textures. For the main I had the Brisket gnocchi with Burrata cheese (educated). A creamy, smokey pleasure with the addition of Arugula, this will be something I come back. Your service was personal and competent, especially the competent bar staff. Can't recommend Woodblock enough.

Every time we go out, it's 99% always over the head of the table next to me, and I can see why. Pros: Every bit of experience Cons: you know what they offer The service was excellent, although no standard uniform made it easy to mistake a host with a super inviting member of the community. And the atmosphere calls Woodblock: The meeting point for the community, a place to chat, a place to have businesses, a place to enjoy life. As for individual menu items: Smoked salmon and crab diving: usually only a smoked salmon dive, not much else for taste, but if you love the taste of the sea, it is there in spades. Hard to kiss someone... Brisket gnocchi: burrata adds so much to this dish, it is so tasteful the cool cheese is refreshing and couples perfectly based with the primary tomato flavor. The added vegetables are of questionable value, the $4 is a bit much for 6 pieces Broccoli arugula, so that's a free pass. Generally, however. My own whisky preferences admired the Westland and 2Bar whiskeys from the drink Like a local flight, but the flights are a good experience that is served properly in Snifters. Tuesday is half of whisky, so it is a good time to experiment.

This is the largest restaurant in downtown Redmond. The staff is excellent and the owner is a laid-back and personable guy. The food was outstanding - I had the brisket gnocchi which was the best I've ever had. The whisky selection is impressive. The employees, from chefs to bartenders to servers, provided efficient and quick service. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Woodblock has a unique veggie burger with a falafel patty. The hostess was able to get that made for me, although missing in the diner menu, so maybe just ask for it. The Burger tasted fantastic and the Pommes were right. I have a table in the heated tent on the street, it was a beautiful environment overall.

We ate outside so didn?t get a chance to experience their indoor seating. Outside was not very comfortable though and they could benefit from a getting more comfortable chairs and tables. Our table was a little shaky. Apart from that, the waitress was very enthusiastic and funny which made the experience much more enjoyable. Their crab cake Benedict was so good I had to get another order. I would come back here but opt for indoor seating next time.
