Bidrage med feedbackAbsolutely excellent. Starting with service then scallop appetizer and finished with a double lobster tail entree. To find this, by accident, in Redmond, Oregon was a wonderful experience. My 76th birthday was absolute success. Plus all of their steaks are USDA Prime. You just can't go wrong.
Celebrating our 17th anniversary at The Brickhouse felt like a delightful trip back to a classic East Coast steakhouse, with all the comforting familiarity and solid fare that comes with it. While there’s nothing groundbreaking or avant-garde about this place, it excels in delivering a reliably good dining experience. The atmosphere is cozy and straightforward, evoking the feel of a traditional steakhouse with its wood and brick interior, wine cellar, and inviting bar. We opted for the scallops plate and the ribeye steak, and both were executed with skill. The seafood was fresh and generously portioned, while the ribeye steak was cooked to the perfect medium-rare, exactly as expected. Service was attentive without being intrusive, striking the right balance for a special evening. The Brickhouse doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it does what it does well. It’s the kind of place where you know you’ll get a hearty meal and a pleasant experience, making it a solid choice for marking occasions like ours. If you’re in the mood for classic steakhouse fare with dependable quality, The Brickhouse fits the bill perfectly.
Always consistently good! I usually order the same thing but switched it up this time and had a Caesar Salad Pepper Steak and was not disappointed. Do still miss Happy Hour...
Edit: The owner has reached out to my husband and we appreciate this very much! Editing to improve the service because of the owner. have been to the Bend location several times and it was always great service and great food. This is the first time we tried the Redmond location and our server James ruined this entire experience here. We had to flag him down to get a second round of drinks, he put in my food order wrong and I ended up with the wrong meal. Then when we closed out he came back to our table and had the audacity to hand back the credit card slip and say “this is not a large enough tip, you were here over two hours and this isn’t large enough tip for an almost $400 bill”. Are you kidding me???!!!!! We tipped 15% on the credit slip, and our friend was leaving an addition 10 15% in cash on the table, since we had 4 people and that was the easiest way to split the tip with. We absolutely did not leave the cash after that, and will not be back at all to this location ever again!
Great food. Drinks were okay, and the bill came to $375 approximately. We left a $50 tip on my card. And planned on giving some more in cash. The bartender/owner, I assume, had the audacity to approach our table and say my tip was only 12%. In front of other people. I thought this was super unprofessional and downright rude! If he had not embarrassed me waited. My tip would have been more than enough in cash. To compensate. SMH The Owner reached out to me personally and apologized. Which he did not have to do but was much appreciated. We recommend this place to everyone. This particular employee made a bad choice that night.
