Batchley Fish - Redditch

Every time I order from this place, eating is amazingly perfect consistency every time! fish is perfectly cooked, not greasy at all, chips equal! they deliver every time fast!

The food is always delicious, with generous portions, and the chips are cooked to perfection. We particularly love the spuds, which aren’t always found in other chip shops. If something isn’t available, they are happy to cook it fresh for you. I highly recommend the kebab packs—they're fantastic! Another important detail for me is that they always use grease-resistant paper for the chips after adding sauces. There's nothing worse than getting home only to find that all the sauce has soaked into the paper, leaving the chips dry. I’m confident that if someone has a genuine issue, they would gladly sort it out for you—just like in a restaurant. If you had any concerns, why not mention them before rushing to leave a bad review? Overall, I wholeheartedly give Batchley Chippy a 5-star recommendation!

In December, after Redditch closed down, this has become our go-to chip shop. The service and food are consistently good. The home delivery option is a nice bonus. I’m giving it 4 stars, though, because the closing time is quite early, making it difficult to visit after a night out.

This is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and high-quality fish dishes. The chips earn a solid 9/10 from me, though that's just based on my personal taste—I prefer them crispier. They've recently updated their opening hours and the way they serve meals, which is a nice improvement. You can now order online and pick up your food; they don't offer dine-in at the moment.
