Taj Mahal Indian Cuisine - Redding

The food here is super delicious, the owner and servers are all friendly and accomodating to vegan diets. There is beer on tap and the prices all around are very reasonable. Serving size is awesome too. Every time we are in town we make sure to visit... actually this past visit to Redding we csme to Taj Mahal two days in a row!!

Food was good. Service was slow and little mixed up. However host was nice and welcoming.

I love this place. It hands down has some of the best chicken curry to ever exist. It's cheap and the portions are large so you can eat off of one serving for multiple meals, usually I can stretch it out to three meals. They are incredibly kind and very fast as well. I recommend them 100

Pretty good I got the butter chicken and the tiki masala both taste similar and the meat didn?t taste slow cooked (it was still hard) . Naan was not cooked all the way but still okay eventhough it was overly oily .

We ordered Dal tadka. It was plane moong Dal with no tadka. It was exceedingly expensive at $16. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT!!! Most items are on the higher end in terms of the price for all their dishes. One of the most expensive places for Indians foods I have ever had.
