Wood Oven - Redbridge

The personal service at this restaurant was extremely rude and unhelpful. I have not experienced such bad service in a long time. The waiter hovered over us, insisting we order our starter first and rushing us to make decisions. When we ordered a pizza from the menu and requested toppings to be removed, we were told that toppings could not be added, only removed. This seemed odd, as toppings are essential for making a pizza. I had to convince the waiter to add artichokes as a topping, only to be told they were not special and were expensive. When our food arrived, they had misunderstood our order and replaced one topping with another. When I pointed this out, the waiter accused me of lying and refused to take the dish back. Instead, he offered a plate of hummus or a small salad. The hummus was bland and unappetizing. To make matters worse, my pizza was overly cheesy and salty. When we asked for the bill, we were informed that only cash payment was accepted and directed to an ATM across the street. This information could have been shared when making a reservation or entering the restaurant. Overall, the staff was incredibly rude and the food was subpar. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.

We had a wonderful family meal at Woodoven BBQ today. The food and service were excellent. We felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. Special thanks to April for her attentiveness. A must-visit restaurant.

Eating was just amazing. each dish boiled to perfection and explode with taste. the decor a perfect mix of wood and stone complements perfectly and makes it relaxed and comfortable and finally for the personal you could not one. find space with better service with the most friendly smiles, especially april. I can only say that this place is amazing

The dining experience was very pleasant and refined. The service was excellent, especially in April. The portion sizes were generous, and the atmosphere was charming. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I’m regular customer from over years and have been in many different Turkish restaurants but couldn’t find that good food as you can have in Wood Oven, the quality and service never disappointed. The staff and the owner always have smile on faces.
