Bidrage med feedbackMy life has been a constant search for a pad thai to meet the lofty heights of one I used to get in Canberra all the time. I've tried that pad thai at every thai restaurant I've been in since - either the noodles were too thick or sloppy, or it tasted too much liked tinned spaghetti... and then I went to Thai red seed. The duck pad thai is beautiful. Noodles not too thick and not too soft, the sauce has so much depth, the duck cooked well. Cannot complain at all. I have also ordered the satay chicken which was nice (but I admit I have had better) and the Laksa (again nice, but I have had better), pad thai spring rolls (yummo!). Once I get tired of the pad thai (which may never happen), I'll be able to work through the menu more.
The service was great and very prompt. The food was so tasty and delicious. The portion sizing was perfect for us to share 2 entrees and 2 mains. We both throughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely go there again
I dine here once a week and it is consistently good. The service is excellent and the variety of meals is impressive. My favorite is the pineapple fried rice. Staff are very obliging in terms of modifying the meals such as adding cashews or deleting egg.The other night my friend wanted 3 entrees for his main, i wanted fried icecream with caramel sauce. No problem for this restaurant! It was perfect!
The couple that own and operate Thai Red Seed are locals to the area, they are enthusiastic and ready to serve you the very best of Thai. We enjoyed a selection of light dishes and curry. we have in the past over ordered and walked out regretting having so much food. The Thai red Seed served sufficient of each dish that we were very comfortable. the decor is minimal, clean, tidy but welcoming. we were looked after by the owner and treated like old friends even though it was our first time. Parking is no issue, take a way is available, this great little cafe caters well. we wish it well for the future, with all there friendliness and enthusiasm, they deserve it. Eat Locally and support small business.
The service & food here is fabulous, they deserve to be much busier but are in a little tucked away location in Westlake. Their duck stirfry is delicious ????
