Garden Way Cafe - Redbank Plains

Gardenway is a plant nursery that also offers café and shopping options for quality indoor and outdoor products. It is always such a peaceful setting, even on a rainy day, and the opportunity to eat, wander or buy is a thrill in itself. It never fails to please. I take friends here for all sorts of celebrations or merely to relax. Staff very attentive. Menu good but basic unless you start looking at the cake options!

Yes I agree this pic is not from here. Anyway moving on...food is not bad. Could have done with a slightly bigger portion for the price. Good friendly staff and service. Relaxing environment and good range of brekkie choices. Increase the portion sizes slightly more and would have increased the rating. Overall not bad but,but could do better.

A group of us recently experienced a very disappointing overpriced lunch at Gardenway Monier, The consensus was not to return, better value elsewhere !

Firstly this is a lovely place to eat. The salad I ordered was fresh but small. At $20 it was way over priced even though enjoyable. My bill after coffee came to over $25 which I though a bit steep given what I was actually served.The service is exemplary and the fact that one is seated is very nice. I was also called 'ma'am', not love or darl, pet peeves of mine when dining in Australia.This place is more of a cafe than a restaurant. Perhaps the restaurant label denotes a higher price for anything on the menu?I'm not sure I would dine here again given the poor value for money, though I would certainly have a coffee!
