Moxies Red Deer

Very busy night for Moxies because of the Bryan Adams concert. We could tell the staff were giving it their all to serve everyone and although there was a wait for our meal, the staff were apologetic and extremely professional!

Our server Shayla was very pleasant, professional and attentive. Food was delicious and timely and they were able to adjust slightly for our diet. Overall a great experience. We will come again!

My partner and I have been staying in Red Deer as we wait out our evacuation order from our home in Yellowknife, NT. The whole City of Red Deer has been beyond generous and supportive at this difficult time, and the amazing staff at Moxies was no exception. They did everything possible to make us feel welcome, both the other night when we dined in and tonight when we picked up take out dinner. Service was fast, friendly, and the food was awesome. They worked with us to recoup costs using our City of RD vouchers, the staff member we dealt with was so friendly and kind, and dinner was delicious. Thank you so much, Moxies you made our night :

Moxies Red Deer is a awesome restaurant where servers are excellent and food is Above excellent. Lauren was very knoweldgeable about the menu and paid very close attention to specific dietary needs. It was very special to be able to celebrate my one year wedding anniversary here. Lauren and Ian the sous chef were very pleasant and made it a very memorable experience for us.

Well, again moxies seems to aim to displease. Unfortunately. I can hear once months ago and absolutely loved it!The last few weeks I’ve ordered take out once, and dined in once.When I ordered take out the for my whole family (5x I ordered chicken tenders and fries for my 2 girls, they chicken was way way over fried. Also ordered 2 asparagus garlic and salmon pasta. The one was great! But the one piece of salmon was so over cooked and charred.Decided to dine in today. First off, I’m heavily pregnant (due in 5 days and I was seated at a booth. So uncomfortable. I again asked for the summer seasonal of asparagus Garlic and salmon. With them telling me they are all out of pasta? How’s that possible? My son ordered pasta (chicken Alfredo? but they are out. I seen recent reviews this is not the first time they have “been out” of this dish. Our waiter also tucked us way in the SE corner. Never asked to refill our drinks(we sat almost the whole time without drinks/empty cups . Barley checked on us. I was so frustrated with the last 2 experiences. So I settled for a steak and potatoes with veggies. The asparagus was so bitter. The potato’s were so salty and having nothing to drink made it hard to keep eating them.I’m not one to complain cause hey, things happen etc. I didn’t when I ordered out. But again a second time. Nope, not happy.I won’t be recommending this place to anyone anymore after these last 2 experiences. Unfortunately.
