Big Bend Market - Red Deer

Every year we buy our favorite thanking turkey from the big bend... the infamous chicken: we love the chicken and the conversation around it, not to mention, we are so happy to get the best quality from the big bend! This year we hosted Sunday so we decided to pick it up on Saturday (in the late afternoon, after we arrived, we were told that our chicken was given someone else as a mistake and there was no left. We were broken! BUT as always great bending went over and above (as always and ensured that our Thanksgiving dinner was one for the books!!! We LOVE great bending and the way they treated us for a mistake at the end proved that we could always count on them. They offered us more than necessary to maintain for the inconvenience, and we are forever grateful and for always customers Thank you for making great bending for ever your customers #1!!!

On a recommendation from a friend, my daughter stayed in Big Bend and took a pumpkin cake for Thanksgiving dinner. The seller told her 15 or 20 minutes in the oven to warm it What could be easier? after the recommended...time we removed the cake from the oven and appalled us to discover that the dessert was actually still raw. Back in the oven for another hour and half... the crust was still drying, and the filling had not solidified as pumpkin cake. Totally tasteless, as if the cook had just filled a can of commercial cakes into the bowl, It was 100% inedible! not sure whether these cakes were brought out or made in the house, but if Big Bend wants to continue this product, I suggest finding a) a cook/baker that knows how to make cake, and b) make sure that the correct preparation instructions accompany the product.

I'm a vegetarian trying to be a carnivore. The butcher answered all my questions and prepared me good things!

I started buying here recently when I met a woman who eats only bios. Very nice food and great people work here. They will help you how they can. Very recommended.

This is the place to get top quality foods I have never eaten the prepared food there but the products they sell are amazing
