The Cunning Man - Reading

Delicious and large portions of main course, very nice restaurant with the fire on the side

I love the Cunning man and it's eating. Today, however, we waited for our food (of course) to come out, one of the meal times was wrong, and my broken fish was hard and dry with very little fish in it.

The personal is friendly and professional. the pub is dog friendly, always a plus. eating is of a good standard and there is a great choice of beer, spirituoses etc. many outside and inside seats. must not wait for food. there is the app to use that works brilliantly. the only negatiw; please make sure that their doggo pea are full and the dishes have water in them. I am sure if id ased it would have been sorted as it was to throw our own water for the dog.

Beautiful building and location. fantastic menu and eat. the prices are fair for 2022. good service, but lighter room for improvement. a little dark in the corners

We met a friend there who had visited quite a while ago. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Not all the tables were occupied but the food and drinks took a while to appear. However, it was well worth the wait and we would definitely return. Loved the log fire as it was a little chilly outside. A lovely country pub.
