Sushimania - Reading

This restaurant experience was peculiar. Upon arrival, I noticed a group of individuals outside who appeared to be drinking from bottles. Inside, the atmosphere had an enjoyable Eastern vibe. However, the staff's limited English proficiency led them to direct customers to a QR code for ordering. Despite the lackluster service, the food was exceptional in taste and presentation. The fixed price of £26 was reasonable for the quality of the meal. If you are solely interested in the food, this restaurant is worth a visit. However, if you value friendly service, it may not be the best choice as other reviews have described the staff as unfriendly.

The fresh, amazing food, good service, and reasonable prices at this restaurant are just fantastic. We absolutely love it and will definitely be returning again!

The sea food noodle dish that I had was very poor it had two prawns in it, some small chunks of fish and a crab stick! It cost over £6 and mostly consisted of noodles I could have had a pot noodle at home instead. My husband ordered too much and could not finish one of the dishes, so he wanted to take it home, but the staff member said that we would need to pay double for each dish we want to take away. That is apparently the restaurant policy! I would not go there again.

Always go there with my mom or my boyfriend. Been there so many times now and they never dissapoint me. The staff are so lovely and quick, food always as expected. Salmon is just so fresh and amazing. Their beef skewers are just . Honestly their hot and cold food are all amazing. Definitely recommend! And if you're a sushi lover and love to eat they have an All you can eat! Totally worth it.

We have been to Sushimania several times and whilst the food is always good, the price for the buffet has increased from £18 to £24 per person. The sushi isn't as good as it used to be whereas some of the starters are very good. Also we had to keep asking for the menu to order another course which was quite frustrating. It seems that they don't want you to order from the buffer despite advertising it as unlimited. One of the waiters was quite rude at the end of the meal which spoilt what should have been a pleasant family meal celebrating a birthday. Wouldn't go back to this branch of Sushimania.
