Ready Tasty - Reading

Worst chips l have ever tasted ...think they were last nights chips reheated..they cant serve the public wiith atrocious food like this...AVOID this chip shop at all costs ....

Worst fish I have had in a long time. Batter dark and solid. Looked and smelt as is cooked in old fat. Fish hardly any, what there was, was very dry. Chips were nice though. Very disappointed.Will not be wasting my money there again. Service did not come with a smile either.

Plenty of cod inside light, crispy batter. Delicious chips.

This place has improved since the previous reviewer left their review. Chips are cooked through and the fish is tasty and it is usually full of customers, which is a good sign.

This place shut for weeks, now in Aug opened serving undercooked and soggy chips and day old sausages. A real shame for a chippy that was really very good before.
