Bidrage med feedbackGood food and a nice atmosphere. I had wok fried vegetables to start and then vegetable Pad Thai. Happy hour starts at 4:30pm on a Saturday and I had a passionfruit cocktail.
The food was reasonable, but why offer a spicy upgrade that isn't spicy. I've had much spicier food that I haven't had to pay extra for. Service wasn't great. Missing a meal that we were all waiting on that was forgotten. Beer was a bit flat. My noodles were stodgy and clumped together. The stools sagged in the seat which left you slumped and feeling low. I managed to get one of the few hard stools that was much better for my posture. I certainly wouldn't rush back.
Went there with large team for lunch break, it took 30 minutes to get foods and drinks, even though it wasn't crowded, we waited at the table a lot... They have to be faster if they want better reviews. Tried beef as a main an it was average. Good thing was the decorations inside.
Had the displeasure of visiting this place this week one Thursday afternoon in January. The barman waved us four in and pointed in the direction of the restaurant to say sit where we wanted. We sat down and shortly a guy appeared and told us four in a curt manner that in future we should wait at the desk. Very rude indeed. There should be clear instructions and a billboard to say ‘wait till seated’. The desk should be manned for at least on busy times of the day. The food and service was reasonable But they also charged us for the sauce with BIMBIMBAP, that was part of the menu!!
Really good food..my first experience with Sri Lankan food and I was not disappointed at all. Flavourful and so much variety. It's mostly coconut based food but I liked it. Vegan friendly as well. They have some unique food and tickles the taste buds. The interiors of the place is also really endearing. Good find! Will come back for sure.
