Panera Bread - Reading

I am a big fan of Panera Bread, I gave 4 stars because this place has teenagers with attitudes even the teenagers? Team Leader?. The dining room is always easy eschew. Every time I order pastries with my order, they forget it when I order it via kiosk. Today I automatically asked at the front counter where I was hit with an attitude from an older adult that it will come with my food.

This assessment applies only to the new chicken sandwich. My daughter and I both wanted to try the new chicken sandwich. We ordered exactly the same.. the signature take sandwich, a bowl of soup, a well drink, and for $0.99 we added a bakery item and decided for the apple instead of more strength. The soup was great. Mexican street Mais Chowder. Pretty good. The pecan braided bakery was great. The apples in Panera are consistently some of the smallest apples I have ever seen. The chicken sandwich. Sighs. Very subduing. The emerald greens lacked almost (2 tiny pieces wispy greens, possibly arugula). If I hadn't opened the sandwich to scrape off some of the overwhelming garlic aioli, I wouldn't even have seen the green. The Parmesan wars were also a bit too sharp and needed less of them. The chicken breast itself? There's nothing special here. Not terrible, not great. Both overwhelming aromas completely masked the taste of each chicken, but perhaps that is the point? The old saying is less appropriate here. All for $44.22. Absolutely staggered for 2 chicken sandwich menus. $12.00 for a chicken sandwich? There is nothing on the chicken sandwich that guarantees this price.

I ordered online through their app for two icy vanilla Madagascar coffees. By the app, the drinks would be ready to pick up when I'm here. At least I knew they didn't make special drinks for you when you order on the app. The first time to order there and it will be my last. I told them it was my first experience there and nobody really wanted to be disturbed. They gave me two cups with syrup and said I should drink myself. Sad part is that I tilted them if I only pay on my app to serve myself. Never again. Remember to connect the coffee club, but this will be a hard no after this experience. Order online much easier and cheaper and pick up at Wawa where the drinks are made for you.

My Figi apple salad was delicious and fresh. The counter help was very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be going back soon.

I have to admit, Panera makes some great dishes. Most seem or feel healthy and fresh... and taste great. Love the pastries even though not too healthy, but hey, has to live a little. The prices are somewhat on the high side, but the occasional splurge is worth.
