Bidrage med feedbackWhat a romantic place! Excellent food! Very good service! Friendly and helpfull! Charming place! The wine Terra is a Nice recommendation!
Whilst visiting the port on a cruise four of us decided to have a walk by the marina and beach. Returning to the ship we decided to find somewhere for a bite to eat. We spotted an upstairs terrace didn't look anything special, but it overlooked the marina. We weren't sure if it was private for marina customers only, but went to investigate. We were warmly welcomed and promptly served. The chef came out to see us to personally explain the menu (very good English). Drinks were good a lovely red wine and my friend had a nice dry white. The boys had chilled beers. The best bit though was the food. If we were at a top Michelin starred restaurant we could not have been more pleased. The complimentary entree proved a winner with all of us, and the main meals were simply delicious, creative, well presented all in all fantastic. There is only one veggie meal on the menu but it was absolutely superb. So if you are in the area, don't walk by and think it is an owners cafe for those with their boats in the marina. Posh it is not, but the food was wonderful, service excellent, pretty views over the marina and at just over 20 euros each with wine and beer, exceptional value.
I followed my parents here, remembering how it was in the past and worrying about my lunch. I shouldn 't have! There were only two tables taken, but I 'm told that in summer, reservations have to be made days before you want to go. And I could see why: the place was simple but cared for, with clean tablecloths and some decor. The tables and chairs were comfortable and pretty. The staff, a tattooed gentleman, was polite and reserved until we started speaking to him, and then he opened up and was friendly and full of stories of his culinary journey. We ordered: a starter of classic clams fresh and very well seasoned in a sauce that we sponged up with all the bread we had. It was that good. Branzino alla romagnola a butterflied sea bass covered in breadcrumbs. Fun and original, it was also perfectly cooked. Maybe some butter, halfway through the baking time, would have helped ; Another fish plate whose name I don 't remember a filleted fish, maybe swordfish, also simple but tasty. Tagliolini al ragu di pesce really, really good. The tagliolini were homemade and the fish sauce was rich, thick, full of pieces of squid and baby octopus. Really delicious. We also ordered homemade chips which were quite fun to munch on during the meal. As dessert we had trifle (zuppa inglese that had been made a short while before. I 'm not a huge fan of trifle, but it also met expectations. We paid 60 Euros. Some observations: the location is excellent the place is clean the food is good quality, good quantity and a good price the presentation of the dishes was spectacular You should definitely try it. But remember to reserve!
Good day, with a beautiful sunny day even if fresh we have taken a walk on the pier or dam that we say, on the return we felt in the air smell of fish, being a circle we tried anyway to ask if we could feed, exceptional welcome, as friends, really friendly and professional service and finally excellent products, really a nice place with quality food, thank you.
Very happy for all kindness, availability, excellent dishes and a very good wine card. for the prices I don't know. I was a guest
