Bidrage med feedbackVisited Sadaf for an event, my entire points are only for the food. Restaurant is very centrally located and easy to find. Restaurant and party hall are very well maintained. The toilets need to have more freshness and cleanliness. The food is very good quality, all fresh stuff. It took me by surprise on the spread that they offer. The salads were super fresh, kebabs were so juicy and cooked fresh. All the rice dishes were so flavourful. We enjoyed the food and will definitely try to look for a sadaf restaurant in Dubai. The team need to have a major training session on customer service. The service team don't move around, you ask for water at the beginning of your meal and it comes to you when you are about to leave after your meal. Anything that you ask of the server, he never comes back to you...Its actually sad because of poor service we now don't want to visit again though the food is so good.
Tried kebab sultani and fried shrimp plates. Both were very good. It's very clean and peaceful, and the interior of this branch is the best among all Sadaf restaurants I've visited. Overall: Quality food Average prices Satisfying service Peaceful ambience
The restaurant decor is nice , every thing very clean , service fast and professional, staff heplfull The food great quality , taste and quantity! We ordered grilled chicken , mix grill and chicken with yogurt, then Iranian tea It was a very nice meal in ras Al khaimah, one of the top few restaurant, I recommend it
Sadaf chain of Persian restaurants have been serving wonderful Iranian food to diners in the UAE for many many years and now RAK finally has its very own branch..... Finally. Wish I'd taken more photos of the restaurant to post because once I found out that this branch was not listed on Zomato, I had to sort that out ASAP. I'm going to post the first review so more photos would have been nice. The RAK branch is Huge extremely opulent. It really is huge and they also have party Hall on the upper floor. It's very popular with the Emirati crowd. The minute you walk in you are impressed with the grand decor. There's a even a nice little outlet near the entrance selling Iranian sweets Iranian brands of certain snacks. Inside the restaurant you sit in your private seating booths or in the open area and order from their small but great menu. You will be served with a complementary soup with barley. Wow... Really flavourful and warming. You also get fresh Iranian bread served with a cool thick yoghurt similar to a thick raita but with not as many ingredients. For starters I had the kashk badanjan which is a warm roasted egg plant dip. Quite good but in my head I probably feel I've had better at their Dubai branch. For the main course The sultani kebab, the chello kabab and the mixed grill are the usual favourites. Nice succulent kababs and moist chicken and with subtle but complex Iranian spices. Usually it is served with the usually wonderful long grain Iranian rice.... Always great. But this time we ordered from the specials. The chelo koresht kormeh sabzi with meat... It's basically a mutton stew with spinach, lemon kidney beans. One of my favourite Iranian dishes which I love to gorge on with their rice. Since the meat is slow cooked it basically peels away when you touch it with the spoon. The dish has a nice tangy taste to it so It's not to everyone's taste but I love it. My wife ordered the loobia polo with meat and the barberry rice. It's similar to a mandi dish in appearance but the rice with with the slightly tangy barberry is quite yummy. We also ordered a pomegranate juice which was nice, fresh and not overly sweet. We were too stuffed for dessert this time but usually we have the Iranian falooda which is very dissimilar to the Indian version but it's very clean, fresh cold and is served with rosewater, concentrated lime juice and a sugar syrup on the side which you add according to taste. A very light but fresh dessert which actually cleans your palate. Overall a wonderful meal if you like the subtle spicing of Iranian cuisine which sometimes can be too bland but not here. Service is great but in terms of value for money I've to say that it is on the expensive side. They charged me 25 Dirhams for the pomegranate juice even though the menu said fresh juices cost AED 18? Sadaf Persian restaurants are a UAE institution and personally I'm extremely happy that they have opened their outpost in Ras Al Khaimah
