La scelta è così ampia. Ho amato il pomodoro e le cipolle sulla pizza.

There are a couple of shops in Rapallo and always busy. The one near the train station serves coffee, that you can have sat on high stools and watch the locals coming in to buy cakes, bread and portions of rice, grilled vegetables, lasagna and all sorts of other food items. The smaller one nearby was absolutely packed on Sunday morning, with a huge porchetta joint that seemed very popular and the staff seemed friendlier than at the bigger one. The focaccia is just amazing, and we tried the plain, olive, onion and tomato ones. I wish we had tried the cheese one after reading other reviews. You get a ticket and wait your turn. The staff don't speak English but my basic Italian and some pointing got me the things I wanted and the staff appreciated my attempts at Italian : Try some fresh focaccia you won't be disappointed!

After a walking tour of Rapallo we longed for the focaccia we saw in all the local stores. This is a store with heavy local trade but you can also eat in and enjoy the focaccia in many forms just from the oven. We chose a spinach based slice or two and found them delicious with espresso. The space is cramped the staff and customers loud a real Italian street experience.

Negozio della catena tossini, sinonimo di qualità, gestito da ordini gentili che invitano al dialogo e poi all'acquisto. Da non perdere: focaccia semplice o normale (per non chiamare mai pizza bianca gentilmente se non noi Genovesi ci offendiamo), focaccia al formaggio, gallette.
