Mirror - Random Lake

Great hometown bar. Only cash, and an amazing older couple owner.

I bet no one on Yelp was in this place nor will they stop. The Mirror Bar is located in the undeveloped town of Dacada Wisconsin. The uncle of my wife, who grew up in the area, told us about this old tavern led by the friendly owner Nic. They went to high school together. We were on a tour of family brands and stopped here. We were surprised that it was open when we were warned that the hours were unratish. No one was in a Saturday afternoon at the place except Nic lunch at the bar. We explained our relationship with him and continued to have a beer some chips and a long conversation with him. It is super friendly and the beer was cheap and cold (only two types on tap). The place is dark, with peeling color on the ceiling and a side room that could use a garage sale. There are tons of packers and other sports memorabilia on the walls. The Mirror Bar has seen better days, but it was fun to stop to see a rural tavern that might not be too much longer.

Great. Mary Ann and Nic are always good to speak. Good atmosphere plus kohlrabi and dilly beans in mixers

Best old fashioned you will ever have. Served with dilly beans and pickled khlorahbi.

Great small town atmosphere and good people coming to socialize ! Nic is a wonderful bar owner, tender .... and all around good guy !
