Went for lunch on advice of friends, beautiful structure, excellent view of the lake, food cooked well and of excellent quality, dishes quite cured, cost perhaps considering the location and the resort...perhaps in the average... to understand if we wanted to make a full lunch of appetizer, first, second and a dessert we would hardly have spent less than 45/55 euros per person.

Been here a few times as my wife’s family are local. Service is always slow (this time 40 mins before drinks order taken despite asking numerous times), sometimes staff are unhelpful, the food is ok but it’s the view that brings us back, albeit no more than once a year as it’s too frustrating. This time was probably the last as the waiter for some reason decided to bring our starters and mains at the same time. We asked him why and after trying to blame the mistake on us he said (in Italian and half the table was Italian so it’s not an incorrect translation)… “I don’t give a f**k”. I assume he must be related to the owner as otherwise he’d have been fired by now. Guy was probably in his forties. Literally the worst service and manners I’ve ever seen. If the restaurant sees this please don’t reply trying to deny it. It’s unacceptable and you know it. Nobody was interested in hearing our complaints at the time.

I was now many times in this charming restaurant managed by the family and each time I received a warm welcome and enjoyed very good food and excellent service the place is nice as during summer you sit on a beautiful terrace overlooking the Lago Maggiore … food is very good and same for wine prices are reasonable and the owners are always showing active presence I like to go there and feel well at this place can only recommend it you will not be disappointed

For our 10-year wedding anniversary at the end of August, I booked in advance a table specifically asking for a nice romantic place on the terrace overlooking the lake. Upon arrival I was giving a table right in the middle of the terrace with no effort (from the mid age longish hair waiter to accommodate our request (although there were other free tables . I was told those were already booked by somebody. Didn 't I booked it...? Anyway, once we sat after 10 mins a young very polite waiter asked us if we wanted to move to another more reserved table and we did. The menu was ok with nothing extremely fancy or different from a restaurant that was supposed to be a really good one. We had mix antipasti, main (pasta and second course meal (manzo steak with a chocolate dessert and a nice bottle of wine. Also when I sat and I asked for the wine list the first thing I was told was, the list of half bottle of wine is at the end.... as if I was 18 years old...; unfortunately I am 45..! Overall, average food, no attention what so ever to the client (we were not asked even once during the entire dinner if everything was ok , it almost seemed like they are happy with their local customers and they don 't care about having a good new ones...! Service average, value for money no good enough sorry...! I don 't think we will go back.

Beautiful experience: excellent dishes, wonderful panoramic position on the lake, very nice service and very kind staff. Amazing the friezes to the lake ragù fish and choregone in carpione. Anyway, it's so beautiful. sin not being able to dine outdoors causes rain, but also from the interior room you enjoy the beautiful panorama. I highly recommend it!
