Bobby D's Ribeye - Rancho Santa Fe

Bobby D's is an amazing neighborhood restaurant I enjoyed several times. I recommended it to many people. My favorite escape is the short ribs. The house salad and the caesar salad are also excellent. The French onion soup is a real winner, as is the potato leek. And you can not go wrong with the garlic groomed green beans or the brussel sputs.

I love Bobby D's especially the short ribs, and the French onion soup, and the potato and rag soup.

Price point and food good, but their signature bowl short ribs was underboiled. It will fall from the bone shell and it was a cut-off like steak shot. Good short ribs take 3 4 hours of slow cooking at low speed. They then fall like a pot roast from the bone. Other dishes served were good.

Terrific find in Rancho Santa Fe. The food was great and the price is outstanding. Our party of 4 all had a different meal choice and we all absolutely loved the food. Very anxious to try Breakfast or Lunch as well. Great place to enjoy conversation with friends and family.
