Lunch Room At Agua Caliente

Not the dining experience we had hoped for based on so many rave reviews from others... HOSTESSES- We arrived 20 mins early. The Hostesses told us to come back at 5:00 PM. I looked around and asked them where do we go? They just stared at me. There was no offer to have a seat at the bar or side lounge chairs while we waited. WAIT STAFF- Absolutely AMAZING service! We give them FIVE STARS! AMBIANCE- Music was pleasant smooth jazz, perfect for dinner. The lighting was moody romantic, but noticed the table next door was dark- several ceiling spotlights were burned out. Decor was nice and simple. CLEANLINESS- The booth seating was covered in crumbs, so I had to hand wipe to remove before I sat down. The hostess politely waited while I did this- she didn't acknowledge or call for assistance to clean the area. The women's Restroom was clean and well-stocked. FOOD- -Hamachi Crudo appetizer was delicious melt in your mouth. The tiny mandarin oranges added just enough sweet citrus flavor. -Petit filet mignon was cooked med-rare to my request and tasty, but served warm- not hot. -Filet mignon 10oz was med- not the med-rare we requested, was tough to cut, and served at room temp- not hot. -Creamed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes were good and served hot on trivets. Nothing special. -Pumpkin Spice Bundt Cake was my comp'd Birthday dessert- I was thankful for the dessert but it was more of a tasty breakfast muffin than a birthday dessert. I took home and enjoyed it the following morning. The comp'd chocolate candies were a nice acknowledgment from the server to help make up for the breakfast muffin. FINAL THOUGHTS- We won't be returning. Ruth's Chris and Eddie V's are far better options for steak and all around ambiance and service in our honest opinion. We wish Agua Caliente's The Steakhouse all the best!

Service was very good there nice and very friendly however when they brought the food out it came with potatoes that was not cooked we had to send it back how ever the New York stake was made very well

Asked the price of the Crab Legs they told me $120.00 Isaid okay the bill came it was $150.00 they told me it's $150.00 I left no tip!

Our steak cooked perfectly... medium rare as we ordered... we're highly recommended this establishment ... reservation is a must

High quality and delicious steakhouse Inside Aguas Caliente Casino. Started out with dirty martinis and the crab cakes are a favorite. Trust your servers recommendations and enjoy the space.
