Sonic Drive-in - Raleigh

Their oreo cheesecake master shake is delicious, I just wish I could have the same experience every time I get it. That's mostly the only reason I come here, to satisfy that craving. It's been different every time. Plenty of oreo chunks, almost no oreo chunks. Thick, thin. Topped with whipped cream and oreo crumbs, or absolutely no pretty and yummy topping. Wait times for the drive through have been atrocious most of the time, with at least 15 minutes being my expectation every time I pull up, even if there's only 1-2 cars ahead. I've waited almost 30 minutes with 2 cars ahead of me once. Still my favorite desert nearby, so I'll keep coming back for it!

Ordered spicy chicken sandwich and they gave me this abysmally looking burned tires straight from hell I had to drink mouthwash just to cleanse my interior of the mouth and I’my way to get baptize. Absolutely avoid this place.

Pretty tasty burgers, the tater tots didn't do it for me this time though. The attendant definitely enjoys his job and was having a good time which makes for a pleasant experience.

Their Customer Service here is really good! I ordered 4 conies on Uber Eats but when I only recieved two I gave them a call and they fixed up another two for me at no charge! Soks was a great dude and really helped out! If you have a problem with your order they'll fix it for you.

They are really struggling to be “fast” food lately. With one car hop working at lunch time, expect wait times to be in excess of 20 minutes. Even when the screen changes to “on the way” it can still be another 5 minutes before they show up at your car. Such a shame as Sonic is a favorite of mine since the 90s and love the limeades and slushies especially but they are not worth 30 minutes of waiting.
