La Rancherita - Raleigh

Ordered the Queso as always, my favorite from any restaurant in the Raleigh area hands down. The enchiladas and tacos were amazing. Normally I play it safe and just get the ACP, which is also fantastic, super simple but really good flavor and VERY filling. Decided to venture out last night and try more of their menu items and I was not disappointed. The Alambre was delicious and the leftovers were just as good which is a rarity for a lot of places. They gave me an entire cup of hot oil with it too. I always go here on my birthday for margaritas and chips and dip theyve never let me down!!

The food was basically unseasoned and didnt taste good. I got the tiras de pollo and I regret every penny I spent

No vegan labeled items. there are a few vegetarian options. they have made the guac directly in the lobby and charged 8.99 to make guac for a table of 2. it wasn't until the bill came that we saw that a double-Guac was billed, although that wasn't discussed. because I didn't want to pay for being removed, I would not get any of the vegetarian options and ask for a page of black beans and tortilla dishes. the black beans were nothing special and the flour tortilla dishes had an acidic, raunchy smell to them. the guac had too much talk. the person at the table got an enchilada and a queen in a combo. I have eaten many enchiladas and loved the sauce, their red sauce melt like raw tomaten and was not the right consistency. the person couldn't even eat it. her queensadilla had hardly any queen, call it a dilla.

First rate carne asada and patron margaritas- can not go wrong at la rancherita!

Decided to try La Rancherita tonight on a whim with my friend and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. Contrary to recent complaints I had absolutely no issue with service. The waitress was attentive, extremely nice and made great recommendations. The carne asada was juicy, tender and the salsa was to die for. It’s not often I give a 5 star rating but this place deserves a 5 star rating.
