Bidrage med feedbackService is consistently between bad and terrible, crinkle-cut fries are pretty typical, but wings and sauces are really good. My last experience there is exactly that: the last. The wrong flavored wings were brought out, but that flavor was good so I was happy enough. A few minutes later the waitress picked up my plate while I was eating to sniff/inspect my wings which was a little odd then she brought a cup of another wrong sauce to dip the wings in, instead of getting the kitchen to make new wings with the right sauce. Finally, she got a pretty bad attitude when we asked why we were charged extra for dressing with the wings that we didn't want. Despite the food being pretty good, it was a very unpleasant experience and we will not be going back.
Awful customer service. The moment I set foot in this establishment and kindly asked the barkeep if the kitchen was still open he snidely remarked that “there was no need to be hostile”. When I asked how large the medium order of fries were, again he snidely remarked that they were medium sized and made an approximation with his hands. I felt unwelcome here from the start (I was just looking for food). The food is pretty fair priced for bar food, but the quality is somewhat poor (e.g. anyone can make the same food at home); I’m assuming the wings are the best thing here, but I was too disgusted to try them. The $5 minimum credit card purchasing threshold is also a bit strange. There are better bars in the area with better service.
They are fried wings. the service during business hours depends on the waitress of this day. in the last 3 times I was here last year, service was questionable. 2 of the last 3 visits were negligible in the latter, also with a hauch of attitude. in the past, this place was great, but I wonder if a management change took place within the window 2016-2017.
The wings were really good. I normally go for bone-in wings, but I had a meeting after lunch, so I got the boneless ones. They were really big, maybe a quarter of a chicken breast each. Needless to say that eating 8 left me quite full. I got the Chipotle Ranch and Blackened Cajun flavors and they were definitely above par. The atmosphere was a little drab, but it wasn't bad. The waitresses were very present when I needed them, and there wasn't much lunch rush. If you are looking for them, they are under the Uptown Cheapskate building. It took me a while to actually find this place.
Most wing place sell by wings by the piece but Ba-Da Wings sells by the pound for wings. I'm a science minded person so weighed the pound of wings... It came to 13.4 ounces including packaging. Also, I've never been to a wing place that doesn't offer ranch or blue cheese dressing unless you pay extra for it (they often do if you want additional portions). The wings were pretty good aside from the false advertising.
