There is a reason why this place has been there for many years. try the fish and chips or the chineses and they will find out.

I used to come here every Friday for lunch and as I was in Reading today I went out of my way to come here for the special fried rice, which by my humble opinion is the best in the country. And I've had alot of special fried rice. Please don't change. See you again soon.

This take away does not deserve some of the petty reviews already submitted. Here is why... I moved here a year ago and use this take away twice a week and have never had a problem. The portions have always been so generous and the food delicious. The staff are always polite, courteous and professional. I have absolutely no doubt that had any of these reviewers who gave a bad review walked into the take away to calmly and politely raise any issue, the staff would have tried to make it right for them. It's much easier to post a bad review and try to harm a business than to give them the oppurtunity to correct any problem. I recommend their chips! Yeah you get some crunchy ones in your portion but that's true of any old skool chippy! The chow miens are perfect and huge! Anyway ... Local resident and lucky to have this take away nearby.

Great food at a reasonable price. We mixed Chinese and Malay food all was good, tasty. Our Chinese takeaway of choice. For fish and chips beware the portions are big!

We couldn't get through to our usual Chinese restaurant, so we decided to try this place instead. It was a delightful experience! The fried rice was particularly impressive—definitely the best we've had. The portions were generous, and everything was very flavorful. We will definitely be ordering from here again. The service was excellent too!
