Bidrage med feedbackA higher-end restaurant with quality food in a beautiful setting overlooking lake Siljan. Well cooked pizzas, with children’s portions. Recommend a stroll over the long pier after lunch.
We had a nice dinner here consisting of pasta with truffles or mussels respectively together with a great riesling and the chocolate ice cream. The views over lake Siljan and the long bridge are nice.
This restaurant is perfectly placed on the beach of Rättvik with a nice view over the long bridge and the Bay of Rättvik. The house is quite modern with a lot of glass walls that make it easy to see the lake even from the back of the dining room. The menu is traditionally Italian. I had burrito cheese as a starter. It was served with small tomatoes, that had spent an hour in the oven, and with pesto. It was nice and can be recommended. As a main dish I had beef that also was a good choice and finished off with a pannacotta. We had a good Barbera vine, which matched the food well. The service was good and fast. However, they did not seem to be real professionals and did not know anything about the vine list. The experience as whole was really nice, and we appreciated that this nice restaurant which situated in this beautiful spot now also serves good food.
Made a stop over on our way from northern down to southern Sweden. The place is nice, the menue limited, but still something for everybody and you can deem and see that fresh ingredients are used. With regards to keeping distance during Corona times they do their best with regards to seating, not always succeeding but major issue for me was the massive amount of people cueing up in front not keeping distance on a nice and sunny day. Pricewise, I am of the opinion it is closed to overpriced, there is other places where you get more value for your money. E.g. Tiramisu in a sparkling wine bowl type of glas for 100 SEK is not OK anymore. But the worst of all is the service. Service personnel not knowing from which side to serve and clean up, mixing cappuccino with latte, fork an knive which falls on the table. If the service personnell does not know better then it is up to the boss to learn them. But this does not happen either. If you charge your customers that much, the service has to be good. For us this was an one-off. Never again.
Good food, not crowded, good service. I ordered porchetta and very satisfied with that. There is a menu for children.
