Fortezza - Radicofani

We arrived in this place to visit the fortress of radicofani. This fortress is built on an inactive volcano in a strategic point, with a view from the 360° tower. in a day of earthly sky (unfortunately it was not our case) you see the bolsena lake, the lake of trasimeno, the mountains above the vine etc. we ate, truffle dumplings, truffle tips, gnocchi cacio/pepepepe, ravioli with ragù. all superb! sweet: 2 kinds of homemade desserts. Tiramisù, simply sublime, never eaten until now one like this! It's really nice. excellent value for money. a beautiful location, similar to a shelter, made of wood both inside and outside. We didn't eat grilled meat, but who was near us was excited. (they're fucking grilled)

Often in places like this I first think is the classic place that gives money to tourists and wander off. This time, I don't even know why, I made an exception and decided to get me screwed well, I have to make amends and instead thank the managers of this simple but cozy local in a magical place. and I must thank my wrong choice. grilled meat really good and abundant, waiting times more than adequate (considering that the grill is made at the moment and not heated), prices more than good, smiling managers, cheerful, kind, welcoming. really recommended, it was a very welcome surprise!

Charm and charm of the place, combined with the history, the legend of the heel grin, they marry with the welcome and sympathy of those who animate the restaurant. the menu is essential, but centered and excellent in obsquio with the Tuscan tradition.

First time in radicofani, a day of crazy heat even at the almost 900 meters of the fortress. Fortunately we meet this nice restaurant where we have light lunch but with goto. definitely a good experience.
