Douglas Avenue Diner - Racine

The restaurant experience was not terrible. If I hadn't reserved a table, it wouldn't have been worth the wait. The food was decent, and the prices were average. The waitress did not seem very motivated to earn a good tip, especially after we mentioned it was our first visit. The atmosphere was loud and crowded, particularly near the entrance where we were seated. Despite this, I am willing to give their Friday fish fry a try in the future.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

We love the diner and have been there many times. We like being able to reserve a table online in advance to avoid a long wait. My only suggestion would be to make the music louder. It’s a 50’s diner and you can barely hear the music.

It wasn't terrible. if I had not reserved the table, it would not have been worth waiting. eating was just ok. average price. the waitress was not very interested in getting a good tipp. especially because I told her it was our first time. 2 people from ohio and 3 people who drove an hour the atmosphere was loud, it was clogged by the door. I will still try there free day fish fry
