I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the disrespectful service I received at Starbucks Robinsons Galleria on June 20, 2023. While I understand the store 's commitment to environmental sustainability through the no plastic or paper policy, the treatment I experienced was unacceptable and has left me with a negative impression of your establishment. Upon entering the store, I promptly approached the counter and explained to the barista that I was in a hurry and requested that my food be prepared in a take-out cup or container. I specifically informed the barista that I would leave the store immediately after checking my email and only needed a moment to do so. Despite my clear communication and understanding of the policy, the barista showed a complete lack of respect for my situation and proceeded to grab my food and transfer it onto a dine-in cup and plate without my consent. To my dissapointment, while the barista was transferring my coffee without my consent, I realized that I had no choice but to leave my coffee and food unattended on the table and waste my money at the same time. This was an additional inconvenience and a breach of trust as a customer. I trusted that my belongings would be safe, even for the brief moment it took to check my email. However, due to the barista 's disregard for my time and needs, I was forced to leave without my purchased items, causing further frustration and inconvenience. The barista 's actions were not only unnecessary but also disrespectful. It is disheartening to be disregarded as a customer, especially when I made my preferences known and offered a solution that would have complied with the store 's policies. This experience has left me deeply disappointed, and I am compelled to share my dissatisfaction to ensure that this behavior is not repeated with other customers. I want to emphasize that my complaint is not solely based on the inconvenience caused by having to transfer my food to a dine-in cup and plate. It is primarily about the lack of respect and disregard for my explicit instructions and needs as a customer. As a result of this incident, I have decided that I will no longer patronize Starbucks Robinsons Galleria. This unfortunate experience has eroded my trust in the brand, and I will seek alternative establishments to fulfill my coffee and food requirements in the future. I urge Starbucks to take immediate steps to address the issue of disrespectful behavior displayed by your staff members. Providing quality service should include treating customers with dignity and consideration, even when complying with company policies. It is crucial to instill a culture of respect and attentiveness among your employees to avoid similar incidents in the future. I hope that my feedback will contribute to the improvement of your operations and service quality.
