Food is good but their staff steal your take out. BE WARNED... we over ordered since we got excoted with the menu... Sadly, there are hungry thieves in their kitchen.... our full Mapo Tofu taken out which was barely touched, when we got home it was barely half a cup... our ribs became 3 pcs from 6pcs... we took note of it because only had a bite or 2 fro.. certain dishes... we were very disappointed. very unprofessional.
Comfort chinese food you will keep on coming back Went here to try them out since it is hidden. On a saturday lunch, we were the only customers of these restaurant. Tried their live stage, lechon macao, live lapu lapu on soy sauce and hot and sour soup. Omg. The lapu lapu us worth dying for it was perfect cooked and cook even better than paluto or fancy chinese restaurant. Its really sweet and yummy Service is also good, but needs to improve on consistency and avoid their kitchen going to dining area to deliver the food from kitchen Internet is decently fast. Showing abs cbn shows which is a plus for me I would keep on coming back as long as they cook this way. Want try something else in future. This establishment does not accept credit card though
Lan Kwai Fong, internationally known, is a bar district in Hong Kong. In Metro Manila, it is a Chinese restobar and grill. You don't see many restobars here, but the Chinese people often eat together so this is a nice idea. LKF serves normal Chinese foods. Normal means the things you would see in a Chinese restaurant...hot prawn salad, spareribs, vegetable soup, chicken, tofu, among others. It is not a fancy restaurant that serves fresh seafood or the best dimsum. Having the name, it does serve a lot of alcoholic drinks. For a more private gathering, LKF has three private rooms. Being a normal Chinese restaurant, the taste is also normal. A 3.0. We ordered Spinach with Three Eggs, Spareribs with A1 Sauce, Hot Prawn Salad, Steamed Lapu-Lapu, Soy Chicken, and Mixed Seafood. I like the crunch of the prawns of the salad, and the tenderness and flavor of the chicken. But compared to other restaurants, nothing really stood out. The reason why this is a 2.0 is because of the service. Before ordering the fish, we asked if the fish is live and fresh. The waiter said it is. "Buhay" he exclaimed. Despite the lack of visible aquariums, we believed him. When the fish was served and we started eating, it wasn't fresh. It came from a frozen source because of the texture, flavor, and how the meat looked. We told him about it but he still insisted on being fresh. No need to make a fuzz about it, we thought.
