Angelino Loja Lda - Queluz

Beautiful little restaurant. great eating, personal was friendly, but not much English speaking, my Portuguese is limited, but we could understand. the best meal I had in my stay in portugal.

This is a clean, nice restaurant a short, pleasant walk from the Posada Palacio de Queluz. The owner gave us a view of their fresh fish selection which is neat. We had the sole cooked in butter with boiled, salted potatoes. It was terrific. We...would hurt back.

We were early for dinner according to Portuguese standards at 7:30. there was no other, but it was recommended by the hotel. I had dourada and it was a good portion. my partner had the tourist special, that was a pork all...in the menu with brot and house made pate included. what we did not expect was that they would charge me an extra eur 10 for broth, olive and pate. I thought I'd share it. the owner spent a little time chatting with us, his views of the world he reported with the overhearing of the talks of many years as a restauranteur. it was already an amusing one. the football game was up and loud when we entered, but the volume was immediately shut off, grateful.

With a dining room that needs a deep redesign, a menu full of banalities, you can hardly expect a gourmet experience. Nevertheless, after trying the cod patents, they came with double the amount of kartoffel to match their inheritance. as for the barrels, he came drowned in water. but the worst was the crème brûlée, which was heated in the microwave. the caramelized tip was completely chewing and the cream was too hot. wrong, I guess. faster and friendly service.

There’s a small porch outside and a larger space indoors. While yes, there were other tourists besides me having lunch there, the place has the feeling of a local hangout, and my Portuguese was put to the test. (There is an English menu, too.
