My husband and I decided to have lunch at this restaurant. I noticed they had Assari Yuzu Shio Ramen, which is ramen with clam broth, and since I enjoy clams, I decided to give it a try. It was delicious. Our waitress was named Miyuki, and we chatted a bit about the restaurant. The owner's name is Shuya. There are many ramen places in the area, but this one stood out to me because of their unique clam broth ramen with plenty of clams. So far, this is my favorite dish here. In addition to the classic ramen, my husband tried the special daily box with chicken and mackerel, and it was also quite good. I recommend giving it a try!
The best ramen in NYC— period! The broth alone is just the most flavorful I’ve ever had anywhere. Perfect low key spot for a cozy dinner/lunch. Try the wings— they’re also amazing
Excellent food~ Everytime I visit to Astoria, this is the spot I cannot miss! Authentic and delicious. Good portion (Not huge, just right). It's tiny but Salty for me, but that's just because I am on low sodium diet.Highly recommend!
I admired the interior design of the restaurant. It was spacious yet cozy. Overall incredibly clean and easy to find on Broadway. I ordered the shuya ramen which had both chicken and clam broth. I think it has that perfect umami flavor you seek in a bowl of ramen. The noodles were very chewy and since I was hungry AND it was so delicious I finished the whole bowl! The other dishes are okay, according to my friends. So if you go here definitely choose the shuya ramen or beef specialty ramen choices. I hope I return to try the wings.
