Kantu Peruvian Cuisine - Queens

Second time trying Peruvian food, it wasn't as impressive as my very first one, which was a few years back at another restaurant but this time was good enough. Went on a Sunday night, the restaurant reached its full capacity, but the service was still good, waitress was patient and kind to give us recommendations, the food was good. Would recommend.

I have been coming to the this place for sometime now. I originally was coming a lot when they were new and were promoting their social media heavily. The food and the quality was great. However, I took a break from coming here after six months and it is sad to say my favorite place of jalea and ceviche has dramatically changed in quality as the ceviche did not have a citrus favor but it was a bad sour as if it was going bad. The jalea delivery wasn’t there anymore and amount is significantly less from what it was back in January in 2023.

Pulpo a la parrilla , menu says pulpo a la parrilla no baby pulpo, not taste at all even the pulpo taste a pulpo, ceviche mixto was just juice with mix seafood and fish not taste at all, missing a lot of limon taste but I was super happy with the CAU CAU, that plate was so delicious and good amount of mondongo and potatoes. Saying this , I’ll back to give one more shot to another hot dish.

Peruvian food is very good. Our waitress was attentive but never smiled or suggestions .Food: 5/5

The food is fantastic. Our server was delightful. His recommendations were great. They didn't rush you out. I will definitely return.Food: 5/5
