Burrito Republic - Queens

This restaurant in Ridgewood, Queens is a fantastic food spot! I often come here for lunch breaks when I'm working. As someone from Texas, I can confidently say that they do an excellent job. The business is woman-owned, which is great to see. They recommended adding potatoes to my egg tacos, and I have been hooked ever since. The staff is always sweet and friendly. I also appreciate that their delivery staff always wave to me when I see them on the street.

The carnitas tacos are delicious! I wouldn't suggest the chicken tacos, but they were okay. I would advise against ordering the guacamole.

I ordered the chicken burrito and found the inside ingredients to be delicious. However, the burrito was wrapped in tin foil which made the flour tortilla soggy. I was disappointed to have to reheat my food after just purchasing it. Additionally, I ordered guacamole and chips, but the guacamole was watery. Paying $6.50 for just 2 tablespoons of watery guacamole was very upsetting. I believe the restaurant should improve the quality of their food considering the prices they charge, especially with the current inflation. Overall, it felt like a waste of money.

The Mexican Corn Chips made me miss Cali. I apos;ve enjoyed the Pedro apos;s papas w Carnitas or tinga before and this time didn apos;t disappoint. Food and service has always been on point.

Chips didnt have much flavor at all. The portion for the burrito bowl for the price is a little much...
