Buon Cafe Trattoria - Queens

The last celebration of a weekend for my mother's birthday. It was a perfect end for a perfect list of birthday activities.

My wife and I just expanded it to Open Table because we were in the area and were hungry. Based on the decor we have second thoughts about our choice until the food came. We had some of the best grilled octopus ever! The seafood salad was very good and we shared a seafood pasta marina special that was actually a “special”. Everything was fresh and the sauce was amazing. The service was warm and friendly. We'll be back.

The service was very accommodating without being pretentious. The food was quite delicious and served in healthy portions. We both loved the veal parmigiana- well prepared, tasty sauce and cooked just right. The value was great. The biscotti that was served at the end of the meal was homemade and a real treat. Had expected something that could break my teeth, but this was like a perfect light, flavorful cookie. Definitely recommend it and will go back.

Nice little place, not much seating. A nice selection of menu options. Very generous portions.
