Crabby's Seafood - Queens County

This family run seafood “shack” is spectacular. Not only is the food excellent, but the staff were friendly and typical islanders who make you feel at home with conversation and friendliness. The owner saw my son casting his fishing rod in the harbour and went and got him some bait. Must visit.

We made a reservation in advance for the fresh halibut at this restaurant and it was amazing! It was so delicious that we ordered it again. The quality of the fresh halibut far surpasses the previously frozen options available at other places, making it well worth the extra effort to come here.

This is no longer Crabby's its now Wood Islands seafood take out but don't let that or is looks scare you. The Food was Awesome, the place clean and the people super friendly. Sea food chowder, crab cakes and the lobster rolls are incredible. Believe it or not they sell fresh seafood out of the other end. We found it looking for the light house and went back multiple times. One of PEI's best kept secrets. 2 thumbs up, more if I had em.

We visited The Shack for lobster rolls and left extremely satisfied! There was no pretense, just a simple shack serving exceptional lobster rolls. Our server (possibly the owner) was playing Dave Brubeck and completely focused on preparing the lobster rolls. We received our order quickly and without any complications, allowing us to enjoy our meal at a rustic picnic table while feeling the cool breezes. This restaurant was exactly what I love - a place that is dedicated to serving delicious seafood.

I was not recommended to visit this local crab shack by any of the locals, but I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. While the price point was a bit high, I had the best hot lobster roll I have ever had. The owner, Crabby, was friendly and even gave us some tips on other local activities to do. This is not a sit-down restaurant, but rather a walk-up place with limited seating at picnic tables. Despite this, the food was amazing and definitely worth the visit. I highly recommend trying the lobster roll at Crabby's, it was truly delicious.
