Scores - Québec

We went to Scores on Newman Blvd in Lasalle Canada Day. We ordered hot chicken sandwiches with baked potatoes. A salad bar was also ordered. The salads were ok, but neither the caesar nor the honey mustard dresses had actually taste. The sandwiches were... covered in a brown engraving, not the expected BBQ sauce from the menu. When the server asked how it was, we mentioned the bad engraving. She went to ask the kitchen where a curious story of 2 different but alleged BBQ Gravys apparently exist. If you want the actual Gravy to be served with the chicken, you need to request it. This despite mentioning BBQ Gravy on the menu. The sauce definitely served was not BBQ everything.. The potatoes were well cooked and a food highlight. The server offered to change, but we were halfway through. She apologized several times and gave us a free coffee. Personally, I guess the kitchen used the wrong Gravy and a BS cover story. At least I hope that, or food quality is actually slipping. As a wheelchair user, the heavy manual doors are also not exactly accessible to disabled persons.

In August there was a late lunch. The place was dead (not surprising at the hour). The service was decent, but not stellar. The same for food. Lunch for 3 was $65 (with taxes), plus tip.

I was craving a Portuguese chicken leg and French fries for takeout, so I placed an order and it was delivered in less than 20 minutes! It even came with a small side of coleslaw. The service was incredibly fast, and we don't live too far away. I paid online.

After attending an event, we decided to have dinner at Scores. We were seated promptly and ordered the crispy chicken breast fillet burgers, which we rated 4 out of 5, and the holiday meal consisting of turkey breast, potato gratin, vegetables, and cranberry sauce, which we rated 2 out of 5. For dessert, we had a half cold half cooked chocolate served in a cup with salted caramel, roasted marshmallow, and crispy popcorn. The prices were reasonable and the service was good. However, our overall experience was just average due to the disappointing festive meal, which was served half cold and prepared using a microwave as we were seated next to the kitchen and could hear the appliance being used.

My Spouse and I had the Salad bar and Roast Chicken November 26, 2019. The veggies and fruits were fresh and plentiful. Everything was very good. I am disappointed to see that the Asian salad is never there. Has it been discontinued? It was excellent....We were served by KAYLA who gave us excellent service. This Scores restaurant is in the Place Vertu shopping center in St. Laurent. They have a large parking lot. Service is always very fast.
