I absolutely adore this charming Italian restaurant, where the food is delicious. The lobster tartare is my favorite dish without a doubt.
My co-workers and I used to frequent this restaurant for lunch during the summer of 2015 and enjoyed it. However, our experiences in March and May of 2016 were disappointing. The service was incredibly slow, with wait times of 45-50 minutes after ordering on our last two visits. In May, we had to ask for our food to be boxed before it even arrived at our table because we were running out of time on our lunch break. This made us have to eat our lunches at work, which defeated the purpose of going out for a quick lunch. The Caesar salad was soggy and not fresh, and my co-worker's lobster linguini only had one small piece of lobster in it, making it seem cheap. While I still enjoy their pizza and smoked meat sandwich, my co-workers and I have decided not to risk going there again. Two bad experiences in a row cannot be just a coincidence.
Since the last two years, the restaurant has been losing speed. pasta is less good. the atmosphere less warm.
I went to this restaurant with my wife and our baby at a Saturday night, the restaurant was almost empty so we were a bit nervous, we feared that the restaurant was not good enough. Oh we were well surprised. The atmosphere of this bistro was good, the service was excellent, our waitress explained us the menu and advised very well. There was a large choice of pizzas and pastas but we ordered two «table d'hôte», the first one was with onion soup as an entry then beef bavette and Greek potatoes, and the second one was with fondue as an entry then veal liver and french fries, both were excellent ! It was tasty, well presented and generous. The desserts were also very good, my wife and I were very pleased by this restaurant which I recommend. We will be back for sure !
