Le Cochon Dingue - Québec

We came to the birthday dinner after a long trip to québec city during our Canadian adventure. we were not disappointed. the waitress could not have been more helpful. I had the steak, which was cooked as ordered with a delicious mushroom sauce. the fish-N-chips... were also good. there is a beautiful atmosphere in the restaurant. only negatiw was the tarte train, who did not live up to French standards.

The place is beautiful, but somehow crowded, could have a little more space between table. the service was excellent eating was ok and a bit expensive

Very fast and very good: we got 15min eating and we go in 45min total, a Sunday morning. we're coming back!

Came here for dinner with friends as it was one of 3 restaurants recommended by our hotel counter staff. Since we were not too hungry after a big lunch, we ordered some French onion soup, Caesar salad, fish chips and the salmon entree. The...best of the 4 items was the soup even though it was a bit on the salty side. The Caesars salad was tasteless as the dressing was very bland. The chips were better than the fish in that combo. Lastly, the baked salmon entree came with overcooked salmon resulting in a very dry fish and the rice were a small chunk of rock! Not good by French food standards. I would recommend going elsewhere for better food...

Really enjoyed the ribs. My wife really enjoyed the maple smoked salmon and my mother enjoyed the lobster and shrimp roll. Recommended!
