La cage aux sports - Québec

We had a great experience with the food and service at this restaurant. Although it was a bit noisy, the servers were able to accommodate our request for a quieter table.

I wanted to express my appreciation for the amazing service at the sports restaurant. I have been there several times, but today's service was exceptional. Thank you to the incredible staff for going above and beyond.

We have been to other Cage aux Sports, such as in Sherbrooke, Quebec, which was excellent. At the Quebec city Des Gradins location, not so much. Ordered a burger, and my wife Salmon. She asked for the salmon to be cooked medium rare. It took 45 minutes for our food to arrive. The salmon was overcooked to the point of being inedible! My burger was cold. The waitress admitted the cook had to re-do the salmon, because he overcooked it first time. Well, he screwed up the second time too, and while all this was going on, my burger was sitting in the kitchen waiting for the salmon. Our waitress apologized, and said she noticed it was over cooked as well. My wife did not eat the salmon. You would think that they would have, at least, not charged for the **** they served. Wrong, they charged just the same. No class!

We decided to have dinner at this restaurant because we were impressed by the menu and the cozy ambiance. We chose to dine on the outdoor patio due to the warm evening weather and our preference to eat outside. The service was good and the portions of food were generous. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for tasty food and enjoys a bit of people-watching.

From sunday to wednesday, they play dance music, no game sounds. Good sports bar but wihout game sound....it just not a sports bar
