Bidrage med feedbackAfter a whole day to foot we were so glad to see these elevators. it made our day and the price was right:
We have passed on this small place, while we took the elevator from the hotel st. vincent to the road where we could hike to old town. this small café/café is located in the building where the elevator is located. we stayed on the way back from the old town and had coffee and baked and they were delicious! so tasty, in which we did the next morning for quiche and a breakfast sandwich that was recommended by the staff. the staff was so helpful and friendly and explained what some of the foods were. it loved it and bought some delicious cookies to go!
We found it when we tried to go back to our hotel, just by the elevator between St Roch and St Jean. It was a cold lunch, and the place was a warm surprise. We had a few quiches and little pecan tartes. Coffee was... We went back to coffee two days later. There are books to read and people walking by the elevator.
The way from the St. Roch neighborhood to St. Jean street and Old Quebec requires a lot to go uphill and a lot of energy. The Ascensour du Fauburg is an elevator that saves about half the effort. This coffee shop includes the entrance to the elevator. The first time we were confused, where was the entrance to the elevator? No, it could not be the same entrance to the Coffee Shop? That's it. The coffee shop is tidy around the entrance to the elevator. They make a very good espresso and latte, and they have sandwiches, beer, etc. The coffee shop is always very clean and tidy, and they welcome everyone who goes to the elevator with a beautiful smile. Its more than a coffee shop; it should be a tourist stop because its very unusual, have built a fine coffee shop around a public elevator.
Excellent public infrastructureVery practical for people who don't like the odds of our beautiful country, in other words QUÉBEC
