Viva Sgobba - Quebec City

In general, Viva offers a great dining experience. The presentation of both the bisque and snow crab risotto was excellent. However, it is somewhat misleading to label this restaurant as Italian, as the menu does not feature traditional Italian dishes. For example, there were no pasta options available for lunch. Because of this, I cannot give it a perfect 5-star rating. Nonetheless, it is still a solid choice for a delicious and well-presented meal.

The meal began with bread and butter instead of olive oil. The wine list only had a few Italian options, including a $60 bottle of pinot grigio with a twist cap. The pasta was overcooked and served in a creamy sauce, made with supermarket pasta instead of fresh. While I complained to the server, we received no apology or complimentary grappa. However, my companions who had not experienced authentic Italian cuisine found it acceptable. Despite the restaurant's popularity, it fell short for those familiar with European dining.

My husband and I were in search of a restaurant that served steak, as it is my favorite dish. We were recommended a place by a stranger in Quebec, as we were tourists from Cape Breton, NS. The fillet mignon steak was absolutely delicious, and the presentation on the plate was impeccable. We also enjoyed the cream of broccoli soup as an appetizer, which was equally amazing. My husband ordered the Caesar salad with Cancun chicken, which he also found delicious. The waiter was incredibly polite and kind, providing exceptional service. I highly recommend this restaurant - you will not be disappointed! It was truly the best steak I have had in years.

One of my favorite restaurant in Quebec city, good food, good ambiance, good service, a lot of parking space, the decor is pretty and the restaurant is not loud. I usually bring my vistors there and they always have good words about my pick. There is something for everyone on the menu. I love how they serve the desert coffee with different kind of alchool it's somewhat spectacular. It's not very pricy for the quality of the food you get there.

Very easy location , Lot of free parking . Good minestrone soup . Very tasty sea food linguini whit creamy sauce. Friendly service.
