Hardeman Safety Stop - Quanah

Restroom closed. Porta potty available near watch for snake sign. It is an easy on easy off rest stop with plenty of parking. There is a playground that is locked due to Covid October 2020. I'm sure it will be a good place to stop in future but not anytime soon.

A nice little Oasis on a small highway! I was desperately looking for a place to park my truck and I'm glad I came across this. Nice and big, plenty of spaces. Clean restrooms and a very well-kept yard in Grass area. I have marked it on my map as a place to return to if I come down that way

As a commercial driver, this rest area is well lit and wide open. Also gets a great wifi signal.

The restaurant is very clean and provides a nice place to relax. However, we were disappointed to find that the playground was closed, which was a letdown for the parents looking to give their children a break. The gate is locked for safety reasons, but we're not quite sure what that entails. We made a special trip to this place specifically for the playground, so it was frustrating to find it unavailable.

The restrooms are clean, and there are two tornado-themed hats available. Water fountains can be found in the main building. However, there are no breeding areas among the shrubbery.
