Sonic Drive-in - Puyallup

Sonic has an extensive menu which is great. It's the place to go to when everyone wants something different. Burgers are good, chili dogs are good, ice cream hits the spot. Service is mediocre and you have to wait occasionally.

The absolute worst service! Only way to get service is through the drive through! My dad and I both have classic cars so we thought we would go here like it was the 50's and 60's again! We sat there pushing the button and waiting for 45min. Watching the drive through ordering and getting their food! Walked up to the door they told me they will get to me when they can! I will never give any Sonics my money again! I will drive out of my way to Wally's in Buckley great food and service there! Sonics is a disappointment not the first time this place has done this but will be the last time for me!

We came near closing, about 25 minutes away. There was 4 cars ahead of us and so we thought It was okay. It was absolutely not okay. We waited and when we finally got to tet up to the speaker, at 11:58pm (while waiting for 25 minutes BEFORE closing, the order taker asked what we would like then the SECOND it turned 11:59pm not 12am she immediately said “sorry we are closed and decided not to serve us. What in the world sonic???? How are you gonna take our order then not take it. I work in food service so I’m trying to give some grace but I just absolutely cannot after this experience. Please do not come here after 11pm you won’t regret it.

Looks a bit run down, half the drive up screens were broken, it was dead and I had to wait 30 min ish for chili fries as they did not prep enough apparently. The drive through girl could care less, but the woman who brought us our food was super apologetic and offered us freebies, but I declined. I will say the cherry limeade is still worth the trip though.

While it is rare that this location DOESNT forget at least one food item, they have good food. my actual reason for writing this review is to beg Sonic to update it's hours correctly. Mister Biscuits was ready to order and google said you were open last night.
