La Cale - Puy-l'Eveque

As of summer 2021, there is a new restaurant in Puy l'Eveque that is situated along the river and offers a lovely terrace overlooking the water. They offer a veggie burger that can be customized to be vegan by omitting the cheese. I tried this dish and was extremely pleased with both the generous portion size and beautiful presentation. I am eager to return and sample the salad next time. The restaurant has an extensive wine and beer selection, and they are planning to open a second terrace and introduce gluten-free options to their menu. I am excited to see what this new dining spot in our charming French countryside town has in store for us in the future!
